Patrol over Volturno river approx. 16 ME109's encountered. F/L Kennedy destroyed two, the pilots baling out. One hitting the ground before his parachute opened. F/O Davidson had a probable and F/S Johnston damaged a 109. None of our aircaraft were hit.
