Anders Christian Hansen Westergaard

Anders Christian Hansen Westergaard was born on 15 September 1922 in Denmark. He is the son of Jacob Vestergaard and wife Edel Hansen Vestergaard. [1]

He arrived in Halifax, N.S., from Copenhagen on 7 November 1927 on-board SS OSCAR II. He was accompanied by his mother and sister. His father had arrived in Canada at an earlier date. [2]

He is one of the men who volunteer for British service during the Second World War. He serves in the Royal Canadian Army as Lance Bombardier. He is stated as having served in the Royal Canadian Air Force in the database of Danish volunteers. [2]
