Ramrod 846. The Wing took off on Ramrod 846, led by Lt. Col. Berg, at 1135 hours crossing the French coast at 10,000 ft. between Ault and Cayeux. They reached the target at 1215 hours and bombed it from 10,000 to 3,000 frt. The result was very good, many direct hits being observed in the target area. Weather was 4/10ths cloud at 4,000 ft. with a slight haze, while the visibility was very good. Over the Channel were very scattered clouds at 7,000 ft. All returned safely at 1300 hours.
