These six aircraft were scrambled and ordered to Bradwell at 30,000 feet.Reaching 24,000 feet, the flight was ordered to patrol coast off Bradwell at 10,000 feet. The patrol was uneventful. Weather:- Thin layers of cloud at 20,000 feet. Visibility poor.

Se Rønhof (1996), p 52. Rønhof reports that he is scrambled because of an intruding JU88. Acsending his engine catches fire, but he manages to return to base.
