D.698. Armed recces area AMERSPOORT-ZWOLLE-HENGLO-GELDEER-ARNHEM.-Operation in sections of 2 a/c each 331 Sqdr. made a total of 22 individual sorties. The first section was airborne at 9.35 hrs. and by 11.40 hrs. the 5 sections had returned to base and all landed safely. Low cloud hampered the operation and the movements thus seen was very limited. 2 lorries were attacked of one which caught fire, the other is claimed as damaged.
