D.533. Fighter sweep in the OSNABRUCK-ENSCHEDE-WILHELMSHAFEN area. 24 Spits of 331 and 332 Sqdrs. took off for a fighter sweep in the above area. Major Tvedte was leading the operation. At KELDE airfield 13 plus J.88 were observed on the ground but not attacked. Whilst 331 Sqdr. was circling above as air cover to 332 Sqdr. this attacked one train, consisting of Paan [?], and goods trucks. The train stopped and the engine claimed as damaged. Another train moving S.W. from GRONINGEN was not attacked. Considerable Met. movements was observed on the road between GRONINGEN to LEEUWARDEN att 11.10 hrs. All our a/c returned safely to base where they landed at 12.05 hrs.
