D.456. 20 Spitfires of 331 and 332 Sqdrs led by Major Gran D.F.C. and 2 Bars took off from base for an armed recce. in the NIJMEGEN-ENSCHDE area. They swept uneventfully from 10.35 hrs. to 11.25 hrs. Nothing was seen and all our a/c returned to base where they landed safely.
