Details
Shipping recco Ushant - Brest Harbour flying 17,000 ft. The arrived at a point 6 miles S.W. Ushant. Splitting into two sections they dived down to 3-4000 ft. towards Brest Harbour. Red 3 & 4 saw 2 large destroyers and 2 (possibly tanker 2 miles off the coast at Le Cougnet and headong N.W. Light meagre flak (Bofors) from coast. Red 1 and 2 went towards Brest Harbour and diving across at 3000 ft saw three large transport ships at about 10,000 tons inside mole with a further two smaller ones outside.
