Four aircraft together with four of 165 Squadron took off 19.55 on Instep II No. 49 patrolling areas A & B 150 miles W.N.W. Lizard. All aircraft flew at '0' ft. No sign of Jun88's L.R. which is was hoped would be operating in this area. Weather cloud 10/10th 2-3000ft. Visibility 2-3 miles in haze.
