Details
Rodeo 171 - 7 Spits IX LF LR with 8 of 165 led by W/C Smallwood swept Nantes - Vannes area. They saw one single engined enemy aircraft on the end of N. runway at Nantes but owing trouble experienced in jettisoning tanks did not attack. No sign of a/c at Vannes. Several trucks at Lavebay were attacked with strikes being scores by 2 a/c. Over 100 trucks at Questemberg were attacked by whole formation. Many hits. Moderate heavy accurate flak at Nantes. Moderate light accurate flak Questemberg.
