Ramrod 1309. 11 Spitfire IX LF (90 gallon tanks) led by W/Cdr. Powell acted as escort to Bostons bombing enemy positions south of Arnhem. Flew as planned to target at 14,000 ft. Bombing unobserved due to the cloud, which was 10/10ths cumulus tops 12,000 ft. Visibility excellent. Coast to just west of Eindhoven 6/10ths at 12,000 ft. Eindhoven 8/10ths at 12,000 ft. Channel clear.
