Details
Red Section - Cap de la Hague - convoy located 5 to 6 miles W of Cap de la Hague in process of forming up and consisting of 1 battleship, 2 destroyers and sundry small craft. After formation convoy headed North in Channel 5/10ths at 6000 to 7000 ft. Visibility good. Yellow Section relieved Red Section on patrol. Convoy by this time 10 to 15 miles North of Cherburg peninsula. Patrolled at same height as previous Section. Weather also same. Both Sections carried 45 gallons L.R. tanks.
