Task KIEL. Bombed at 2322 hrs from 19,000 ft by red T.I.'s, impossible to identify visually. Own bombs were not seen to explode. Fair amount of heavy flak. A/C seen to burst into flames and crash at 2319 hrs. No fire glow observed over target. One photo attempted. Bomb load: 2 x T.I. yellow, 4 x T.I. green, 6 x 4 flares white, 1 x 4,000 HC.
