Task LORIENT. Primary target attacked at 1955 hrs from 14,000 ft visually on built up area of town, estuary and docks. Bombs seen to ignite and would appear to have been dropped N.W. of aiming point. Several good fires seen burning and incends seen to ignite around aiming point. Moderate heavy and light flak but few S/Ls. One photo attempted. Bomb load 6 x 3 flares, 6 x 90 x 4 lb incendiaries.
