Details
Task LORIENT. Primary target attacked at 0120 hrs from 14,000 ft. Cloud drifted over target after bombs were dropped. Number of fires were seen burning in town area. 90 x 4 lb incens brought back reason not known. Slight amount of heavy and fairly intense flak. Intense heavy predicted flak and 1 S/L at CHANNEL ISLANDS. One photo attempted. Bomb load as above. [6 x 3 flares, 6 x 90 x 4 lb incens].
