Three aircraft were despatched from Tarrant Rishton to drop containers. F/Sgt Sutherland did not drop. He received no reception signals from the D.Z. - and was fired on by an armoured train in the D.Z. area. F/S Derbyshire succeeded. F/S. Herger had no signal reception and returned his load after encountering some flak.
