The primary target, HANOVER, was attacked and bombed from 20,300-ft. at 2018 hours. Weather conditions: 9/10ths. cloud. The target was identified by red, and green T.I.'s, bombs being dropped on cluster of three green T.I.'s. Scattered fires were seen. Nickels were dropped. The aircraft was hit by flak in the main plane, tail plane, and port inner engine. It appeared to be an average raid. Plotted ALTWARMBUCHEN 055°/7 miles from HANOVER. Photo showed village and open country with three incendiary tracks, fringed by cloud.
