Details

The primary target, MUNICH, was attacked and bombed from 21,500-ft. [?] at 2239 hours. Weather conditions: Little cloud [...]. The target was identified by red and green T.I.'s [...] had to abandon this due to another Lancaster [...] ocuring so near that we had to pull a steep climb to avoid a collision. Bombs were then dropped on T.I.'s. Plotted MUNICH 2150/4 miles from aiming point. Photo showed river and built-up area and marks of nozzle flame of flak battery. Nickels were dropped.
