Details

The primary target, BERLIN, was attacked and bombed from 20,000-ft. at 2334 hours. Weather conditions: Clear over target. The target was identified by green and red T.I.'s, bombs being dropped on green T.I.'s. Nickels were dropped. Fires well concentrated and visible for at least 100 miles. Whole city around aiming points area of flame. Photographic failure due to fires and smoke. Landed at Croft at 0427 hours.
