D.D.37. Bombing and strafing of marshalling yard east of AMERSPOORT. 10 x 500 M.C. delay bombs dropped scoring 3 hits on embankment and two near misses on rail-line, reminding bombs all in target area. Large explosion observed at DEUHNE at 1010 hrs. Courtrail seen at 1023 hrs. in ROTTERDAM area. All our a/c returned safely to base.
