2 Flights of 6 a/c each, one led by 2/Ltn. Solvang and one led by 2/Ltn. Eidsvik took off for convoy patrol SW FECAMP. Patrol uneventful. 4 ships were seen to be attacked by light coastal artillery from L.5547. Ships put down smoke screen. Convoy included small craft and large destroyer approx 6 miles off St. JOUNIN. 1 ship damaged and sunk by our own forces. Convoy moved SW direction. At 4530 approx. 40 barges were observed, all partly beached. Also large square repainted object observed, possibly a floating quay. 1 corvette and 6 ships (possibly destroyers) seen alongside pier in the LE HAVRE harbour. All a/c returned safely to base.
