Details
Rodeo 414. 10 Spitfire IX LF with 90 gallon tanks carried out Fighter Sweep Munster - Zuider Zee area from Ursel. One aircraft returned early with engine trouble but the remainder carried out the operation uneventfully returning direct to Manston. Intense accurate flak (light) from Leiden area. V2 seen leaving ground near Hague at 15.50 hours. Weather 10/10ths base tops 8000 ft. Munster area improving to 2/10ths at Dutch Coast.
