Two A20G's recce'd roads west of ROME and straffed limited transport near MANCIANO, TARQUINIA & TUSCANIA.

The eight Bostons [Henrichsen] covered reads N. & E. of ROME where also very little transport were observed. Targets bombed included M/T at TERNI; convoy from PERUGIA to TODI and M/T S. of SUBIACO. Transport on mountain and S. of TERNI was straffed. Many a/c were coned by 3-6 S/L's followed by light and medium flak. 7-10 guns near R. TIBER (... F88). Weather was good throughout. A20G's expected 2,600 x .50 ammunition. Bostons dropped 16 x 500 & 128 x 40 lb. bombs.
