Task LORIENT. No cloud, good visibility. Primary target attacked at 2038 hrs from 10,000 ft visually by light of glares. Docks clearly identified. Some T.I. flares were seen to fall on aiming point and others were scattered over the town but concentrated in a radius of 1/2 mile of the aiming point. Slight heavy and light flak and many S/L's. Towards end of raid flak ceased. One photo attempted. Bomb load 4 T.I. green, 6 x 4 flares, 1 x 4,000 lb GEL.
