F/LT. IPSEN and F/O MALLOCH did the Tac. R. in the ST. MICHEL-CONDOVE area, without finding any targets. Light, intense and accurate flak was experienced from ORABASSANO to VIGONE. F/O MALLOCH's a/c was hit in the tail and fin so they returned early to base. F/O M.-EATON and SGT. PEARSON damaged 4 rail trucks at BUSSOLENC and 6 passenger coaches at H6838. 2 lorries of 3-ton with trailers were damaged at N8373 and at N6646 a small car and a 3-ton lorry were damaged. F/LT. CARLYLE and F/O BURROW damaged 4 passenger coaches at H8232 and damaged 2 diesel coaches at SALUZZO. At CUNEO 3 coaches were damaged, despite heavy, scant and accurate flak.
