12 a/c airborne on escort of 24 B25s attacking a road and railway bridge at PONTASSIEVO. Another formation of Fighters escorted the bombers, so a fighter sweep was carried out in the FLORENCE area. WEATHER: visibility good; 3/10 cloud at 10,000 ft. scattered. 5 50ft. motor boats were seen coming out of S EZIA harbour.
