8 a/c airborne on a Fighter sweep in the PIZA-FLORENCE-VITERRO area. In postition Q7155 a car pulling [...] trailer was observed; this was straffed by F/Os Ipsen, Hallas and Moubray and P/O Musgrave, and strikes were observed. In the last attack by F/O Moubray and P/O Musgrave it burst into flames. At L7095 [?] a convoy of 5 vehicles were observed moving south 300yds. apart. 2 3-ton trucks were attacked by F/Os Moubray and Hallas and P/O Musgrave, and 1 3-ton truck was attacked by F/O Hallas. The 3 trucks burst into flames and exploded, ammunition shooting in all directions. In the same convoy 2 other 3-ton trucks were severely damaged, liquid pouring out of one of them. A ship of 200 ft. travelling W. was observed travilling cast [coast?] of MONTE CRISTO. 2 undamaged bridges were seen at Q8718. WEATHER: visibility hazy, cloud 1/10-2/10 - 12,000 in the N.; and 8/10 7,000 in the S.
