8 a/c airborne on escort of 48 B26s attacking a road and railway bridge at GRIZZANA. Bursts were observed on the target bridge and bombs were well placed on two other bridges in the area. On the return journey one a/c straffed a 5-ton truck at Q1881, observing strikes, and also a 15-cwt., which began to smoke, at Q0772. 4 trucks were seen on the road running North from LUCCA. WEATHER: visibility good, cloud cirrus 15,00 - 20,000 ft.
