8 a/c airborne on sweep PIOMBINO-CIVITAVECCHIO area. WEATHER: visibility 20 miles; cloud 4/10-5/10 6,000 ft. At PIOMBINO 6 x 40 ft. barges and a 150 ft. coaster vessel were seen. The flak-ship off SPARVIERO point reported on the 10th May was no longer there. At TALAMONE 2 vessels, one of 40ft. length and the other 80ft., were observed. In the harbour at SAN STEFANO 6x40ft. barges were seen. At ELBA in PORTO FERRAIO 14 x 20-60ft. small boats were observed and an installation 100ft. long, which may have been a floating dock.
