OPPOSITION: SLIGHT OPPOSITION WAS ENCOUNTERED FROM MOST KNOWN DEFENCES INCLUDING UNSEEN FLAK SHIPS OFF W.DANISH COAST. LITTLE SEARCHLIGHT ACTIVITY ALONG THE SWEDISH COAST INEFFECTIVE DUE TO 10/10THS CLOUD.

Captain unable to identity the release point, 1 x D404, and 1 G710 were brought back. Release point reached at 20.57 WNE no flares seen. At 20.58 hours a yellow flare was seen to port. Course altered and at 21.02 approx. second flare was seen. The third did not appear and asa pin-point could not be obtained on KULLEN POINT mines were brought back to BASE.
