Ramrod 282, Part I. The Wing, led by Major K. Birksted, D.F.C., flying with this Squadron, was to act as Top Cover to 24 Mitchels bombing the power station at Grand Quebilly airfield in Part I. of this operation. Owing to unsuitable weather conditions on the other side, the Wing was recalled after 35 minutes flying.
