Charles Gordon Olsen is born in United Kingdom. He joins the Royal Air Force in May 1940 and is trained as wireless operator and air gunner.

Pfc. Paul A. Thogersen enlisted in the USAAF during the Second World War. He served in a Signal Aircraft Warning unit and overseas in the North African and European campaigns.

Kjeld Christian Johan Pedersen (1917–1982)
Kjeld C.J. Pedersen is trained as pilot in the Danish Naval Air Service before the outbreak of the war. In 1942 he manages to escape to Denmark in a D.H. Hornet Moth with his friend Thomas Sneum. He volunteers for the Royal Air Force and is in service in different squadrons until the end of the war flying Hurricanes and Spitfires.
