Danish WW2 Pilots

Børge Hansen Trip

(1922–2010)

Børge Hansen Trip is born on 6 November 1922 in Hjerpsted, Denmark. He is the son of farmer Christian Hansen Trip and Marie Sofie Ellen Trip (née Sørensen). [1]

He arrives in Halifax, N.S, from Copenhagen on 30 July 1925 on-board SS FREDERIK VIII. [2]

He is naturalised on 30 March 1930 (38771 B), but he might still have held his Danish citizenship at enlistment as he was under 22 years of age. [3]

He volunteers for the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War. I have no information on his date of enlistment or discharge. [4]
