Pfc. Niels Ingemann Nielsen
(1908–1970)
Niels Ingemann Nielsen is born on 27 August 1908 in Måbjerg, Denmark. He is the son of farmer Andreas Nielsen and Ane Johanne Nielsen. [1]
On 14 April 1929 he arrives at St. John, New Brunswick from Liverpool, England, on-board SS MONTROSE with the intention of pursuing a career as farmer in Canada. [2]
On 14 May 1943 he volunteers for the US Army in San Francisco, California. [3]
According to some sources he is in service in the US Army Air Force until the end of the war based on among others Okinawa and New Gunia.
