Carl Jensen

Carl Jensen is born on 7 March 1893 in Denmark.
I presume him identical to Martin Karl Jensen born in Filskov on this date, as son of farmer Hans and Ane Kirstine Jensen (née Andersen). [1] He is listed on a U.S. World War I Draft Registration Cards in June 1917 and on 27 March 1918 listed as U.S. Recruit in the Canadian Over-Seas Expeditionary Force. He is not naturalized U.S. Citizen at this point. [2]Carl Jensen enlists in the Royal Canadian Air Force in Edmonton on 17 June 1941. I presume he is naturalized in Canada prior to enlistment. He is posted to No.1 Manning Depot as Aero Engine Mechanic and with the rank of Aircraftman 2nd Class (R.105942).
On 11 July 1941 he is posted to Technical Training School, St. Thomas, and on 9 November to No.10 Repair Depot. He is promoted to Aircraftman 1st Class on 15 November 1941 and to Leading Aircraftman on 1 April 1942.
On 20 June 1945 he is posted to one of the Release Centres. He is released on 27 June 1945.
