Frank William Marius Jensen joins Royal Air Force before the war and has a long and eventful career ending as Group Captain.

Børge Nielsen was one of three Danes serving in 205 Grp in the Mediterranean Allied Strategic Air Force. From bases around Foggia in Italy he carried out thirty-nine operations from August to December 1944.

Pvt. Marshal H. Lange was born in Denmark but moved to the United States at an early age with his American born mother. He enlisted in the USAAF in early 1944 and served until May 1946. He was naturalized soon after enlistment.

Sgt J. G. R. Elbo was born in England in 1922, by Danish parents. He volunteered for the Royal Air Force during the war and was engaged in intelligence work.

Prince Jacques de Bourbon-Parma was trained as pilot in the Norwegian Air Force in Canada, but did not finish training before the war ended. He was a French citizen, but was related to the Danish, and thus also Norwegian, royal family.

Svend Aage Rasmussen volunteered for the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1942. He was killed on active service on 17 August 1943, when his aircraft crashed during a training flight.
